Le Petit – One of 7 Coffee Stops in the Willamette Valley

Le Petit Bistro was recently recognized by the Willamette Valley Visitor’s Association.

HUBBARD, ORE. 20 NOVEMBER, 2023— Le Petit Bistro was recently featured in Willamette Valley Visitors Association’s (WVVA) 7 Coffee Stops in the Willamette Valley. The article can be found on the WVVA website at www.willamettevalley.org/articles/coffee-shops-roasters and highlights cafes, bakeries, coffee shops and roasters along scenic roads and highways where you can find a full Willamette Valley coffee experience. The WVVA builds awareness for the Willamette Valley as a premier year-round travel destination through marketing, sales and destination development.

WVVA’s article highlights Le Petit’s focus on sustainability by way of its reusable to-go container program as well their use of environmentally conscious vendors. For example, their milk is sourced from Lady Lane Farm in Mulino, a small, traditional, sustainable dairy that prides itself on its efforts to be environmentally friendly and who also distribute their milk in reusable glass bottles. Le Petit also partners with Caravan Coffee in Newberg who source their coffee beans from all over the world making sure they meet strict social, environmental and traceability requirements.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by WVVA not only as one of their 7 coffee stops in the Willamette Valley but also for our work we are doing around sustainability,” said owner Ann Shultz. “We strive to make sure our operation has as little negative environmental impact as possible and are also very intentional about who we partner with and the impact they have on the environment. These relationships magnify our efforts and together we can make a bigger difference.”

Le Petit recently celebrated two years in business in Hubbard and has been recognized by Marion County Environmental Services for its innovative sustainability program by being the recipient of their Earthwise Grant two years in a row.

Owned by Ann and David Shultz, Le Petit Bistro serves thoughtfully brewed coffee, handcrafted espresso drinks with house made syrups, fresh baked pastries daily and creatively inspired food including daily house made soups, sandwiches and salads.
