Le Petit Bistro to Celebrate 1-Year Anniversary on September 24
HUBBARD, ORE. 12 SEPTEMBER, 2022 — Live music, a silent art auction, and food and drink specials are all on the itinerary to celebrate one year in business for the Hubbard bistro.
Le Petit Bistro will be celebrating its one-year anniversary in Hubbard on Saturday, September 24. Local musician, Trent Beaver, will be playing on the patio from 11 AM to 1 PM and several food and drink specials will be offered such as free drip coffee until Noon and free cookies with any sandwich or salad order.
As part of their commitment to sustainability, the Bistro will also be giving away free reusables with any order (limit one per customer, while supplies last). Customers can choose to take their drink, sandwich/salad or soup in a reusable container at no charge. The next time they come back to place an order, they can bring their reusable and use it again, preventing the use of a disposable paper cup, soup container or box. Each time customers use a reusable container, they get a stamp on a stamp card and once filled, they can redeem it for a free cookie.
“It is our hope that by giving away reusables on our anniversary, we can kickstart the program and get a large number of customers to start using the reusable containers,” said Le Petit Owner Ann Shultz. It is estimated that approximately 55,000 to-go cups and containers can be prevented from ending up in the oceans or landfills every year if the community embraces this program and participates.
Anniversary festivities also include a silent art auction that will be set up outside the Bistro. Customers can place their bids on various pieces donated by artist Tiffany Smith.
Owned by Ann and David Shultz, Le Petit Bistro serves thoughtfully brewed coffee, handcrafted espresso drinks with house made syrups, fresh baked pastries daily and creatively inspired food including soups, sandwiches and salads. Le Petit is a reimagined version of a family business operated in Woodburn in the 80’s called La Petite Deli which was owned by Ann’s mother Marilyn Paradis.
