Lifting Coffee Growers Up
As a small coffee shop, we are able to be very intentional in who we partner with to ensure coffee growing communities all over the world are lifted up. Our partnership with Caravan Coffee ensures that all coffee beans are sourced with the strictest of social and environmental standards. This screening process is known as their social, environmental and traceability (SET) filter.
The SET filter ensures that coffee growing communities are supported at the ground level, environmental consciousness is prioritized, and all coffee beans are traceable to small single farms or community cooperatives. Because of this, utilizing the SET filter reduces the environmental and social harms often associated with the mass production of coffee beans for conventional coffee chains and franchises.
